How to Join a Project Workspace
Project workspaces are where teams collaborate, share updates, and track progress on client campaigns or internal projects. Joining the right workspace ensures you’re aligned with your team and have access to all relevant tasks and files.
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1 — Log In
- Go to [projects.forgemarketing.com] (or open the project management app).
- Sign in with your Forge Marketing email and password.
Step 2 — Access Invitations
- Check your email inbox for an invitation to join a workspace.
- Invitations are usually sent by your Project Manager or Team Lead.
- Click the link in the email to open the workspace.
Step 3 — Browse Available Workspaces
- From the dashboard, click Workspaces in the side menu.
- Browse the list of available project spaces.
- Use the search bar if you know the workspace name (e.g., “Acme Corp — Q4 Campaign”).
Step 4 — Join a Workspace
- Select the workspace you want to join.
- Click Join Workspace (or Request Access if approval is required).
- Once approved, the workspace will appear in your dashboard.
Step 5 — Set Up Notifications
Configure your notifications to stay up to date:
- Task assignments
- Project status updates
- Comments or mentions
- Adjust settings under Profile > Notifications to avoid overload.
Best Practices
Join only the workspaces relevant to your role or client projects.
Introduce yourself in the workspace if prompted (some have welcome threads).
Review existing tasks and project boards before asking questions — context is often already documented.
