Payroll
This guide covers how payroll works at Forge Marketing, how to access your payslips, and what to do if you have a payroll question.
1. Payroll Schedule
- Payday: Last working day of each month.
- Pay Period: 1st to the last day of the month.
- Cut-off for changes: All updates to bank details, tax codes, or deductions must be submitted to HR by the 15th of the month to take effect in the same month’s payroll.
2. Payroll Platform
- We use [Placeholder Payroll System Name] for secure, paperless payroll.
- Login: You’ll receive an activation email on your first week.
- Access: Via desktop or mobile app.
3. Deductions & Contributions
Your monthly pay will reflect:
- Statutory deductions: Income Tax, National Insurance Contributions (NIC)

- Other deductions: As agreed (e.g., season ticket loans, charity contributions)
4. Overtime & Bonuses
- Overtime must be approved by your line manager before being worked.
- Approved overtime is paid in the following month’s payroll.

5. Expenses
