Email Lists & Shared Inboxes

Email remains an important tool for client-facing communication and formal internal updates. To streamline messages and avoid inbox overload, Forge Marketing uses shared email lists (distribution groups) for departments, projects, and company-wide updates.

1. Company-Wide Lists

  • all@forgemarketing.com
    • Reaches every Forge Marketing employee.
    • Used only for leadership announcements, all-hands invitations, and critical company updates.
  • leadership@forgemarketing.com
    • Executive and department heads.
    • For strategic updates, approvals, and leadership-only discussions.

    • Includes all team members assigned to a specific client or campaign.
    • Used for sharing project updates, deliverables, and client communications.

Best Practices

  • Always use the most relevant list — don’t default to “all@” unless necessary.
  • Double-check recipients before sending sensitive information.
  • Keep subject lines clear and specific (e.g., Client XYZ — Q3 Update Request).
  • When possible, use the project management tool instead of email for task-related discussions.
